- Wednesday will be mainly dry across the region with 3 exceptions.

- With a weak storm passing by to the north, a few showers will dampen northeast Tennessee and northern North Carolina.

- Meanwhile, a few showers will linger in south Florida.

- Thanks to an upper-level low-pressure area over Mexico, rain will be on the increase across the southern tip of Texas.

- Sunny skies will extend from Oklahoma and north Texas to the lower Mississippi Valley.

- Lows will range from between 15 and 20 degrees in the Oklahoma/Texas Panhandles to near 70 degrees in south Florida.

- With temperatures below average in the southern Plains but above average in the Southeast, highs will range from the 30s and 40s in Oklahoma to between 70 and 80 degrees in Florida.

- Showery rain will be confined to the Rio Grande Valley and the southern tip of Florida Thursday.
